Linda Rodrigues was born in Seixal in Portugal - by the river TAGUS - and she soon got used to Lisbon's atmosphere in the ancient districts where FADO was born.

Since very young she demonstrated an extraordinary interest for music. Because of a specific request from her mother, during a popular party in Seixal city, she experienced to perform on stage for the first time. Since then, she kept singing FADO all over Portugal and abroad.

During her professional caree the performed in Netherlands, France, England, Luxemburg, United States, Brazil and she performed several times on national television.

Fully admired at the most typical neighbourhoods of Lisbon she is frequently invited to participate on Marchas de Lisboa (Popular Parades) during the Summer City's Festivities, where she usually appears, as guest of honour, introducing a specific neighbourhood.

Her last record Linda Rodrigues - FADO , was very successful and recently, the Mayor of Seixal presented her with a great homage celebrating her last 15 years of professional career.
